Anthony Miller

Mr. Miller is currently the General Counsel for the Florida Agency for State Technology. Previously, he was the Deputy General Counsel and Chief Ethics Officer for the Department of the Florida Lottery. Prior to his Florida Lottery position, he was the Assistant Director and In-House counsel for the Division of Funeral, Cemetery and Consumer Services. He also worked in attorney positions with the Department of Management Services and the Department of Corrections (DOC), where he also served DOC’s Deputy General Counsel. He began his legal career as a law clerk with the Office of the Attorney General, followed by a law clerk position with the Florida Department of Insurance. After law school graduation, he started as an Assistant General Counsel with the Department of Insurance (later known as the Department of Financial Services). From 2015 to 2018, he served as a Commissioner with the Florida State Retirement Commission. Mr. Miller is a member of the Florida Bar Government Lawyer and Administrative Law Sections. He graduated from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (Tallahassee, Florida) with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. In 2000, he received his law degree from the Florida State University College of Law (Tallahassee, Florida).
