Farah Ali Awarded the 2023 Robert Butterworth Public Service Scholarship

The Government Lawyers Section is very pleased to announce that Farah Ali is the recipient of the 2023 Robert Butterworth Public Service Scholarship. In its inaugural year, the scholarship is awarded to a distinguished third year law student with a demonstrated interest in public service.

Ms. Ali is a third year law student at Florida State University School of Law. She is editor of both the Florida State University Business Review and the Florida State University Journal of Transaction Law and Policy. During law school, she volunteered with many government agencies, including the Office of the Federal Public Defender, Northern District of Florida, the Florida Department of Health, the Law Office of the Public Defender of the Second Judicial Circuit and the State of Florida Division of Administrative Hearings.


The GLS congratulates Ms. Ali on being selected for the scholarship and wishes her well as she embarks on what will no doubt be a highly successful career as a public servant.
